Cohere ranked #736 of 1,000+ companies globally that set themselves apart for outstanding best practices
BOSTON (January 8, 2024) – Cohere Health®, a recognized leader in clinical intelligence and intelligent prior authorization, was named to the 2025 Excellence 1000 Index global rankings by Newsweek and Best Practice Institute (BPI). Cohere is the only clinical intelligence company and one of only two healthcare technology companies recognized.
The annual rankings shine a spotlight on trailblazing companies that balance financial success with innovation, sustainability, and stakeholder value, those that stand at the forefront of corporate social responsibility, uphold rigorous ethical standards, and exemplify best business practices.
“We’re incredibly humbled to be included on Newsweek’s Excellence 1000 Index alongside some of the world’s most respected brands,” noted Cohere CEO Siva Namasivayam. “This honor recognizes the values, integrity, and hard work of our team to deliver on our mission: simplify healthcare by enabling patients, physicians, and health plans to efficiently collaborate on getting the right care.”
For the Excellence 1000, Newsweek and BPI analyzed more than 25,000 companies across 25+ industries, identifying 5,200 that meet excellence standards and ultimately selecting the top 1,000 organizations. The list’s methodology considers factors like financial health–looking at revenue, R&D spending, and website traffic to assess commitment to growth–stakeholder satisfaction with client and employee sentiment, dedication to social responsibility, and alignment with ethical standards.
